If You Have a Canadian ID
You can verify using one of the following:
Canadian Driver’s License
Provincial Photo ID Card (Health Card not accepted)
Canadian Passport
Permanent Resident (PR) Card
If You Are Using a Foreign Passport
You can verify your identity using your valid foreign passport.
In addition, please provide:
If you are a Permanent Resident:
PR Card OR Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)
If you are not a Permanent Resident:
Study Permit
Work Permit
Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)
Please note: Tourist visas are not accepted.
Tax Residency Requirement
If you are not a Canadian tax resident, you must provide your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) from your country of tax residence.
