Open the Beacon app and go to the UPI Transfer section.
Enter the recipient's UPI ID (e.g., name@bank).
Enter the amount you want to send. Make sure it's less than or equal to your available balance.
Select the purpose of the transfer from the dropdown menu.
Review the recipient's name, which will appear automatically. Confirm it's correct before proceeding.
Double-check and confirm the recipient type — whether it's "Business" or "Personal" — as selecting the wrong type is a common error.
Tap "Send" to complete the transfer.
The money is usually delivered to the recipient in under 90 seconds.
If you don't have the UPI ID, you can send money directly to a bank account instead:
Open the Beacon app and go to the Send Money via UPI page.
Enter the amount you want to send.
On the pop-up screen, right below the search option, select Send to Bank Account.
Enter the recipient's bank account details.
Complete your transfer.
The transfer is also completed at almost the same speed as UPI, but sometimes may take longer.
