Yes. You can send money to many businesses using UPI, provided the business accepts UPI payments. When making the transfer, please ensure you select "Business" as the recipient type.
However, some Indian banks may reject UPI payments classified as foreign inward remittances.
If this happens:
The transfer will fail
The funds will be refunded
You can retry using Account Transfer instead
For business payments, Account Transfer is generally more reliable and has a better acceptance rate, especially for higher-value transactions.
