You can activate your virtual card once your account is opened, even before you arrive in Canada.
Here are the steps to activate:
Open the My Beacon app.
Go to “Beacon Money.”
Tap the card icon in the top right corner and select “Virtual Card.”
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete activation.
Once your card is activated, you can:
Start using your account to send e-transfers and pay bills.
Make online and in-store purchases right away.
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for extra convenience.
If you’d like a physical card, you can request one on the same page where you activate your virtual card.
