You can activate your virtual card as soon as your Beacon Money account is opened — even before you arrive in Canada.
To activate your virtual card:
Open the My Beacon app.
Tap View Card from the home screen
OR go to Beacon Money.
Tap the card icon in the top-right corner.
Select Virtual Card.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.
Once your virtual card is activated, you can:
Send Interac e-Transfers
Pay bills through the app
Make online and in-store purchases
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Wallet for contactless payments
If you prefer a physical card, you can request one from the same section where you activate your virtual card.
