When the sender sends a large amount via e-transfer, the bank may perform additional security checks to prevent fraud. This can cause a delay in releasing the funds.
In most cases, the delay is on the sender’s bank side—not ours. If it’s been over 30 minutes and the recipient hasn’t received the money, we recommend that the sender contacts their bank directly to ask them to process the transfer. Once the bank completes their checks, the funds should arrive shortly after.
