How to add money to my account with e-Transfer?

Once your Beacon Money account is created, you can receive Interac e-Transfers directly from any Canadian bank. Your account includes Autodeposit, which means the money is deposited automatically without needing to answer a security question.

To find your e-Transfer Autodeposit details:

  1. Open the My Beacon app

  2. From the home screen, tap Request Money

    OR

    Tap Add Money

  3. Select Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit

Your Beacon account will generate a unique email address that is linked to your Autodeposit.

You can share this email address with anyone sending you money through Interac e-Transfer from their Canadian bank. Once the transfer is sent, the funds will be deposited automatically into your Canadian money account.

Processing times depend on the sender’s bank, but most e-Transfers arrive within minutes.
